We organise diving tours in the Adriatic at Dugi otok island. From a single dive to a week long programs.
We also offer dives in the Kornati National Park and the Telašćica Nature Park.
We are happy to welcome groups or single divers.
Diving courses
We offer try scuba dives, diving courses for beginners and advanced divers through to professionals as well as varios speciality courses according to international standards in small groups.
Equipment
We have all the equipment you need for diving available for rent or hire.
About us
A bit more than an hour of away from Zadar by the ferryboat, you will find the island Dugi otok among the chain of middle Dalmatian islands. It is the largest island within the Zadar archipelago with the surface of 115 km2, 44 km long and 4,8 km wide. The diving center is located ont he coast of an idyllic fisherman village Zaglav.
We speak German, English and Polish at the dive center.
The diving center is equipped with two new compressors and diving tanks – 2020, with top scuba diving gear and three diving boats. We are also equipped and certified for technical diving and for filling oxygen, nitrox and trimix.
Over 250 plants and 300 animal species are inhabited around Dugi otok, Kornati National Park and Telašćica Nature Park, giving this place a meaning of a true paradise for divers.
Diving
You would like to dive in a new location? Are you looking for a diving center on the Adriatic for your diving vacation?
Kornati Diving Center is next to the coast on the island of Dugi Otok in the quiet village of Zaglav. Accomodation, restaurants and a small shop are just a few steps away from the bay.
The large covered terrace invites you to linger and offers the opportunity to discuss the day’s diving experiences with other divers.
At the diving center we speak German, English and Polish.
We welcome interest from individual divers, diving groups and tour operators. We welcome divers of all levels of experience. Divers have the possibility to rent all diving equipment. Gas mixing for technical dives is also no problem.
Two of three dive boats are waiting for you right in front of the diving center, so divers staying in the diving center apartments can walk to the two dive boats from their room.
We can help organise accommodation at the diving center or close to it. We ourselves have five apartments waiting for guests, with space for around 20 people, so that larger groups can also stay here together.
Of course we offer packages for dives and accomodation.
Attractions
Dugi Otok is the biggest island in the Zadar region, it has a lot of attractions to offer. If you visit the island it is worth it to look at some of them.
Telašćica Nature Park
Museum, giant cliffs, warm salty lake, beautiful panorama and the sunset. Perfect place even for a full day.
Kornati National Park
It is possible to approach it with a ship. We organise full day trips here. Perfec place for snorkelling and swimming, as needed we can organise a lunch at one of the islands also.
Punta Bjanca lighthouse
It’s worth to chech the Bunta Bjanca lighthouse, it is only 3 km’s from Veli Rat. The lighthouse is 42 meters high, this makes itt he highest in the Adriatic. it was built in 1890.
Submarine base
There are 4 different submarine bases around Dugi Otok. Even the rooms used by the army is open tot he public.
